Women’s Summit for Political Engagement

I spent the weekend in McLean, Virginia at the Women’s Summit for Political Engagement! I met lots of people and learned a lot. How empowering it was to be among such strong, committed, passionate women! Many of the people at this event were other candidates learning and having fun right beside me. The General Assembly has all seats up for election every 2 years, so current delegates, new delegates and first time candidates were together at the Summit. My biggest takeaway from this event was learning that candidates, old and new, are all just regular people wanting to make Virginia a better place for all the voices they represent.

It was great to see my name with all the other delegates and candidates.

The Grand Ole Setting - My 1st event!

My first event as a candidate was attending the “Grand Ole Setting” at the Central Museum in Charlotte Court House. It was a great day to enjoy a fish fry, listen to great music, and get to know the people celebrating the history represented at Central Museum in Charlotte Court House.
